A key example of this is the transformation of the former House of Fraser site into The Village, now home to The Ministry of Sound, which incorporates offices, fitness areas, and event spaces. Our guidance has helped ensure that these changes are managed safely and efficiently, reflecting our ability to support complex urban redevelopments.
  In addition, we are partnering with Westfield on sustainability initiatives, including the expansion of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The number of EV charging points is set to increase from 28 to 300, demonstrating our commitment to supporting environmentally responsible infrastructure and helping clients meet their green objectives.

1. Origins and historical significance
  Before becoming Westfield London, the area was primarily used for industrial and retail purposes. It was originally home to the BBC Television Centre, operating from 1960 until 2013, and various industrial buildings. The site was also home to the Shepherd’s Bush Market, a historic market known for selling a range of goods, including fresh produce, fabrics, and electrical items.

  Westfield London opened its doors on 30 October 2008, becoming the largest covered shopping development in the capital. The centre spans 2.6 million square feet and houses over 300 stores. In March 2018, a £600 million expansion was completed, making it the largest shopping centres in the UK and Europe. The expansion included the addition of a flagship John Lewis store and Exhibition London, a 3,000-capacity music and event venue.
